You know how they say, things happen for a reason?  Well, in my case, I totally believe it and convinced there is a higher power guiding us to our destiny.   I had signed up for a Kundalini workshop with Mahan Rishi Khalsa, at the end of July, 2012.    At the time I registered, I had no idea that the day of the workshop was also the last day of my job after 21 years. The universe was pushing me in a direction I never anticipated.

That night  in July of 2012, I attended a Kundalini workshop.  Prior to that, I didn’t know what Kundalini was or what it could do for me!  That one workshop left me totally hooked.   Kundalini found me and there was no turning back.   I started to take more and more classes and loved every one of them.   At the Khalsa healing and arts center in Yardley, PA where I was practicing yoga, an opportunity for a teacher training came up.  I really didn’t have to think that much about it, I knew I was destined to be a Kundalini Yoga teacher.  I wanted to share the practice with everyone interested in experiencing the energy of Kundalini Yoga.     Although I wanted everyone to experience what I felt when practicing Kundalini Yoga,  I never thought of taking the course to teach, I really wanted to take it more for personal growth.  It was the best decision I ever made.  I gave myself a gift of life – It has been life transforming.     Every moment of my life is an enjoyable opportunity.  I am loving life.

As much as I never thought I would end up teaching, I really never expected to open up a wellness and yoga center. From a previous business we had space available, build it and they will come.  .   In the back of my mind, I thought about a yoga center, but didn’t think it would come to fruition.  I then met my angels.  There were 4 other Yogi friends who were gracious, kind, willing, able and motivated to open up a wellness and yoga center that would be a community based home.   We all wanted to create an atmosphere that would be comfortable and welcoming to all who entered.  We all envisioned a place where we would build our community.   Calm Waters was born!  It is a place of peace, calm, and comfort.  A place where you are always welcome, where we know your name and place for YOGA, Meditation and contemplation!

Please browse around our site and stop by the studio to check out a class any time. And please feel free to call me or send me an email if you have any questions. We look forward to meeting you!
